Super-Size Me!
Yes, I would like to order a “McPrayer,” a side of mercy, and I need the super-size, please.
In today’s culture most everything is about convenience. And granted there are those times when answered prayer seemingly doesn’t come quick enough. But know that God not only hears, but He does a greater work. He who sees the end from the beginning (Isaiah 46:10) thinks on a much grander scale. Not fast-food mentality. But wedding banquet. And His divine order (no pun intended) to our requests is magnificent, no matter how super-sized the prayer.
The Apostle Paul writes in Ephesians 3:20, Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.
Let’s read that again. It says according to the power that works in us.
The woman with the issue of blood put a demand on the anointing that she recognized in Jesus.
The same Holy Spirit is in every believer.
Do you see the parallel?
If we are in Christ, and Christ in us then we can draw upon the anointing of the Holy Spirit, and His dunamis power is available to us.
We see this beautifully illustrated in John 15:4-7 (NKJV), Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me. “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned. If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.”
The key is to abide. This is contrary to just passing through like you would a drive through. Therefore, we don’t want to be casual. We want to be purposeful and remain fixed and focused on Christ. The Living Word.
Also, we want to put a draw on the anointing. Another way of saying this is to put a demand on the anointing. Such as the woman who had the issue of blood (Matthew 9:21). For she said to herself, “If only I may touch His garment, I shall be made well” (NKJV).
Her faith drew upon the dunamis power in Christ, and there was a transfer from His body to hers resulting in her prayer being answered according to her faith.
So, if we exercise our faith muscle we can pull from the heavenly realm, the Kingdom of Heaven, and bring it forth into the natural realm here on earth.
Does God See Me?
Maybe you’ve been in a similar situation like the woman with the issue of blood, and you need a miracle. If you’ve ever questioned whether God sees you and would fix your mess. If you’ve been searching, driven by a hope that perhaps a dew drop of God’s grace would touch you. Then receive this prophetic word:
You are used to being overlooked.
You are used to being forgotten.
You are used to being unheard.
But I see you.
And I hear you, says the Lord.
You are not forgotten or over looked by Me.
You are loved and highly esteemed.
I shall not leave you.
Keep the faith.
Your faith shall be rewarded.
Pray:
Lord, I thank You for seeing me. I thank You for knowing me. You are bigger than any need in my life, and nothing is too hard for you. Your word says that You are the Good Shepherd and I shall not lack. I receive this truth in my life. I will lack for no good thing for you abundantly meet my every need according to Your riches in glory.
I decree every work of the enemy null, void, dismantled, and disrupted. Send confusion into the enemy’s camp. That which the enemy has held back I declare breakthrough. Where I have been stolen from the enemy has to repay seven-fold.
I decree that the Lord has triumphed over every obstacle in my life, just as He overthrew the Red Sea and led His people through, for His mercy endures forever.
Lord, I give you all the glory. You are the author and finisher of my faith. I will not cease to praise and exalt you. Thank you for the honor of knowing you, and progressively knowing you more.
In Your holy name I pray, Jesus.
